English as a Second Language (ESL)

Our English as a Second Language (ESL) courses are designed and taught by some of the most experienced instructors in Vancouver.  Our ESL program delivers exceptional instruction to help you achieve your goals, whether you’re a newcomer to Canada or an international student looking to enhance your English skills. The program’s clearly structured levels and flexible scheduling allow you to learn at your own pace while maintaining high academic standards. Whether your aim is to expand your career opportunities or excel in your studies, we provide the support you need to succeed.

  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • No proof of English language proficiency required (initial placement test given)
  • Progress tests conducted every 4 weeks
  • Regular evaluations enable prompt level adjustments to match your academic needs.
  • Optional exam preparation courses available for IELTS, TOEIC, and TOEFL)

English for Academic Purposes Program (EAPP)

Our English for Academic and Professional Purposes (EAPP) program serves two distinct groups: students who need to strengthen their English skills before entering our Academic and Business Programs, and individuals seeking to improve their IELTS scores and overall linguistic abilities for career advancement. The program consists of two comprehensive 12-week levels, with successful completion of EAPP Level 2 meeting the English Language Proficiency requirements at our partner institutions. 

  • Final level assessments every 12 weeks to measure and validate progress
  • Instructors provide personalized attention throughout the program, carefully monitoring each student’s learning style and needs to ensure optimal progress

EAPP Admission Requirements

  • Minimum 16 years of age
  • EAP 1 – 4.5 IELTS or equivalent score in other recognized language test.
  • EAP 2 – 5.5 IELTS or equivalent score in other recognized language test.
  • Complete application form with supporting documentation (valid passport or government-issued ID)
  • Payment of application fee and program deposit
